Big Brothers Big Sisters Of Northwestern Michigan

Big Brothers Big Sisters serves a 5 county region. Volunteers are needed for our School-Based mentoring programs at Blackbird Ele, Sheridan, Lincoln ele in petoskey, and Boyne City elementary. Volunteers are matched 1-on-1 with a child and provide everyday fun activities to engage in with the child at school. This may include lunch, recess, doing a craft, helping with academics, or visiting the school library. Its about sharing a friendship and providing positive activities that will broaden the child's interests and help them to grow and succeed in school and life.

We provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one mentoring relationships that change their lives for the better.
