The Historical Society conducts monthly programs at the Railroad Depot, which is owned by the Society. We also operate a Historical Museum at the Harsha House in Charlevoix. The Harsha House is a Victorian-style house built in 1891 and donated to the Society in 1978. The Museum has a number of artifacts, permanent and rotating exhibits, a gift store and many resources available for research.
What We Do
The Charlevoix Historical Society is dedicated to the acquisition, preservation and protection of objects and places of historical value, to the dissemination of information regarding these objects and places, and the bringing together of all peoples interested in the history of the Charlevoix area.
